The Taliban police command in Logar says that three children were killed in a traffic incident in the “Babous” area of the provincial capital.
The Taliban said in a statement on Thursday, September 17, that the incident occurred due to excessive speed and the driver’s negligence.
According to the Taliban, the vehicle went out of the driver’s control and overturned because of excessive speed, killing three children from the same family.
Traffic incidents caused by excessive speed and drivers’ negligence kill a number of citizens in Afghanistan every year, particularly children.
