Sources in Logar say at least three people have been killed and seven others injured in five traffic accidents in the province.

The sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Monday, October 12, that the accidents occurred at various locations across the province over the previous 24 hours.

According to the information, the Taliban’s provincial police command in Logar confirmed the incidents and said that four people had been killed and 17 others injured in 11 traffic accidents across the province over the past week.

The sources identified driver negligence and excessive speed as the main causes of these fatal accidents.

However, narrow roads, right-hand-drive vehicles, driver negligence, failure to observe traffic regulations and excessive speed have repeatedly caused fatal traffic accidents across Afghanistan, claiming lives in various parts of the country.
