With financial support from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), construction has begun on a standard facility for a vaccination center and vaccine storage in the center of Logar province.
The Taliban-controlled Bakhtar News Agency reported on Tuesday, August 25, that the cost of constructing the center has been estimated at approximately 15 million Afghanis.
According to the report, the vaccination center will be built on a 1.5-jereeb plot of land and will have two floors.
The building will include designated areas for the safe storage of vaccines and administrative rooms for managing health-related affairs.
The construction of the center is expected to be completed within 10 months.
