The Afghanistan United Front has claimed responsibility for an attack that killed a Taliban fighter in Kandahar city.
The front said on Wednesday night, September 9, on X that it had killed a member of the “Taliban police” in Kandahar.
According to the front, the operation was carried out in the 15th security district of Kandahar city.
The Afghanistan United Front claimed that the Taliban member was involved in extortion, arbitrary arrests, and mistreatment of civilians.
The claim comes as the Afghanistan Freedom Front recently reported an attack on a gathering of Taliban members in Kunar province.
Meanwhile, the Afghanistan United Front has claimed responsibility for several attacks against the Taliban in Kandahar province over the past few weeks.
