The United Front of Afghanistan has claimed that it killed a Taliban police fighter in Kandahar city.
The group said early Wednesday, September 16, on its X account that the Taliban fighter was killed in a targeted operation.
According to the United Front, the fighter was targeted in the Bagh-e Pol Bazaar area of Kandahar city.
The claim comes a day after the United Front said it had killed two Taliban fighters in Nawsad district of Helmand province.
Meanwhile, attacks by anti-Taliban forces against the group have increased in various parts of the country in recent months.
