Sources say a young man named Shoaib was killed by armed robbers in Kabul city.
Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Sunday, September 20, that the incident occurred in the Chelston area and that the robbers fled the scene after killing the young man.
The sources did not provide further details about how the incident occurred.
The incident comes as armed robberies and criminal incidents have increased in recent months in several provinces of the country, including Kabul.
Earlier, local sources in Herat province reported that the bodies of two children, aged five and seven, were found in Ghorian district after they had been missing for several days.
