The emblem of the Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF), a resistance movement that has pledged to cooperate with the UN's newly established independent accountability mechanism to document human rights violations and Taliban crimes in Afghanistan.

Afghanistan Freedom Front has announced that one member of the Taliban was killed and two others wounded following an attack by its forces on a Taliban outpost in Kunar.

The front wrote on its X page that the attack was carried out at around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26.

According to the Afghanistan Freedom Front, its forces targeted the Taliban outpost along the main Asadabad-Jalalabad road.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front is one of the groups opposed to the Taliban that, following the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, has carried out armed attacks against Taliban positions and forces in several provinces across the country.
