The Afghanistan United Front has claimed that it carried out a targeted operation against the Taliban in Kandahar city.
The front said in a post on X on Saturday, August 22, that the targeted operation was conducted the previous day in the area of the city’s Sixth District.
According to the front’s claim, at least two Taliban fighters were killed in the operation.
The claim comes as attacks on the Taliban have increased in various parts of the country in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, the Taliban have so far remained silent on the United Front’s claims that it carried out targeted operations in Kandahar and Helmand.
