The Afghanistan Media Support Organization (AMSO) has called for the release of an Afghan journalist and his family from a Pakistani prison.
AMSO stated in a press release on Tuesday, 10 March, that Pakistani police have detained an Afghan journalist and two female members of his family.
AMSO expressed concern over the detention of the journalist and his family members, calling the action unlawful by the Pakistani police.
The organization emphasized that, recently, Pakistani police had also detained and imprisoned an Afghan female journalist.
The Afghanistan Media Support Organization (AMSO) has urged the Pakistani government to release the journalist and his family members immediately and to stop the harassment of journalists.
