At least eight people have been killed over the past 24 hours in separate incidents in some provinces of Afghanistan, sources reported.
In the first case, two women and one man were murdered by unknown individuals in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province on Sunday. The victims’ bodies were found Monday by the local residents. The motive behind the murders however is not yet clear.
In the second report, a mother killed her young daughter Sunday in Sayed Abad district, Maidan Wardak province. This mother had severely beaten her three daughters, out of which one of her 12-year-old daughters named Abedah died, according to reports.
In the four cases, armed robbers targeted two brothers on the way to Badghis province, one of them was killed and the second one was seriously injured. The robbers took the property and motorcycle of these two brothers and fled from the area.
In another incident, a resident of Ghor province was shot dead Sunday night.
In the meantime, one person was killed and another person was wounded due to a dispute among the members of a village in Farah province.
Meanwhile, the accurate figures of criminal crimes, armed and mysterious murders are not recorded in all provinces but based on media reports, many such incidents occur daily in a number of provinces in Afghanistan.
