Rabab Fatima, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, has visited Nangarhar province.
The United Nations said on Sunday, November 1, in a post on X that Fatima reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to and continued support for Afghanistan during the visit.
She met with Taliban officials, women, tribal elders, businesspeople and returnees.
During these meetings, Fatima discussed people’s needs and urgent challenges with them.
