Governor’s Gaurd Takes Care of the Office in Samangan Provincial

Hasht-E Subh Hasht-E Subh
15 November 2022 - Solar Hijri Date: 1401/08/24 [t_time:1668495903]

Local sources from Samangan report that Mawlavi Abdul Ahad Fazli, the governor of the Taliban in this province, has appointed one of his guards to take care of the office during his absence.

On Tuesday, November 15, local sources, speaking to Hasht-e Subh said that Mawlavi Abdul Ahad Fazli, the Taliban governor in Samangan province, traveled to Kabul two days ago and appointed one of his guards named Mawlavi Saadullah Samim as the care taker of his office.

Local sources add that this action of the Taliban’s governor is rooted in his ethnic orientation and a matter of distrust; while Mawlavi Abdulmanan Tatar, the deputy of the province, who is from the Tajik ethnic had to take care of the office during his absence. This is the administrative hierarchy, but due to lack of trust and ethnic based conflicts, the government better trust his guard rather then his deputy.

Mawlavi Abdul Ahad Fazli was appointed as the governor of Samangan a month ago by the order of Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzadeh, the hidden and secret leader of the Taliban who might not even be alive.

Mawlavi Abdul Rahman Kundzai, the former governor of the Taliban in Samangan province, also used to appoint Qari Zubair Mosazi, the secretary of the province, as the acting official of the province when he was traveling out of the province.

Since the takeover the country, ethnic based  cleansing in the government offices has been very common norm and the Taliban have replaced all the government employee affiliated to other ethnics with individuals affiliated with the group and ethnic Pashtun.
