The third General Assembly of the Hazara Diaspora Network was held with the participation of representatives from member organizations, Hazara community activists, and a number of guests.

The event took place on August 2 and 3 in Malmö, Sweden, under the theme “Pathways to Integration and Participation in Host Societies.”

Participants emphasized strengthening cooperation among Hazara organizations across the diaspora and identifying practical ways to improve the situation of the Hazara community.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants adopted a resolution titled “Pathways to Integration in Host Societies,” outlining the network’s practical priorities for 2027. The resolution focuses on social integration, support for asylum seekers, youth empowerment, human rights, advocacy to prevent the genocide of Hazaras, civic participation, and economic development.

Participants also stressed the importance of preserving Hazara cultural identity while integrating into host societies, condemned extremism, and called for stronger cooperation among Hazara organizations.

The Hazara Diaspora Network concluded the meeting by inviting Hazara organizations and public figures to join the network in order to strengthen collaboration and coordination.
