Hundreds of protesters marched in Berlin, the capital of Germany, demanding an end to the war, a halt to German arms exports to Israel, and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

Al Jazeera reported on Sunday, November 8, that the protesters had staged the march to mark the 109th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.

During the march, they called for an end to the hostilities and an end to Germany’s military support for Israel.

The Balfour Declaration was issued by the British government in 1917, expressing Britain’s support for the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine.
