Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has once again stressed that Iran will not surrender to the United States.
Early Sunday, September 13, he wrote on X that if Americans are fighters, they should face Iran’s armed forces.
Pezeshkian said the Iranian people cannot be forced to surrender through coercion.
“If the Americans are fighters, let them face our brave military forces. Why are they waging war against civilian infrastructure, food supplies and livelihoods?” the Iranian president said.
This comes as Iran and the United States have engaged in hostilities several times over the past six months and remain without a signed ceasefire agreement.
