Following Israeli army airstrikes in the northern Gaza Strip, four members of a Palestinian family, including a man, his wife, and their two daughters, were killed.
Al Jazeera reported on Thursday, September 10, that the family was killed in an attack on their home after midnight, and their bodies were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital.
The attack comes as Israeli strikes continue in various parts of Gaza despite the ceasefire in the territory.
According to the report, more than 1,300 people have been killed and around 4,500 others wounded in attacks since the ceasefire came into effect.
Meanwhile, negotiations to advance the peace process have largely stalled, with the disarmament of Hamas and the manner and timetable for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area cited as the main points of disagreement in the talks.
The parties involved have so far failed to agree on which of these issues should be given priority.
