Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesperson for the Taliban, says that 125 families, comprising 595 people, were forcibly returned to Afghanistan from neighboring countries the previous day.
Fitrat said in a statement on Sunday, September 20, that 50 families, comprising 259 people, entered Afghanistan through the Torkham crossing in Nangarhar, while 14 families, comprising 71 people, entered through the Spin Boldak crossing in Kandahar.
He added that 58 families, comprising 253 people, also entered Afghanistan through the Silk Bridge route in Nimroz.
Meanwhile, three families, comprising 12 people, returned to Afghanistan through the Islam Qala border crossing in Herat.
