TASS

Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, has accused Ukraine of attacking foreign nationals living in Russia in an attempt to create tensions between Russia and countries allied with it.

The TASS news agency reported late Monday, August 10, that Ukraine had deliberately attacked areas where foreign nationals live in Russia.

According to the report, Zakharova said at least 13 people were killed and nearly 20 others injured following a Ukrainian attack on the city of Nizhnekamsk.

She added that eight Uzbekistani nationals and one Tajikistani national were among those killed.

This comes as reports of Russian and Ukrainian attacks on civilians have increased in recent weeks.
