Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban spokesperson, says that the General Directorate of Passports distributed more than 69,000 passports in the 2026.
Mujahid made the remarks on Sunday, August 9, during the program “Government in the Mirror of the Press.”
He added that during this period, 65,860 ordinary passports, 3,345 business passports, and 512 student passports were distributed.
The Taliban spokesperson also said that during the same period, the visas of 16,171 foreign nationals were extended.
