The internet monitoring group NetBlocks has announced that the internet disruption in Iran has entered its 25th day, with millions of people still deprived of access to information.
The group reported on Tuesday, March 24, that after 576 hours of internet outage, only whitelisted accounts are able to publish information and narratives.
NetBlocks emphasized that these restrictions have deprived civilians of access to critical news and prevented their voices from being heard globally.
According to the report, the prolonged internet outage has severely restricted free access to information and international communications for millions of citizens in Iran.
This comes as, with the start of the war by the United States and Israel against Iran, the country’s internet has been completely shut down.
