Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, has said that the war waged by the United States and Israel against Iran has “not ended yet.”
Al Jazeera reported on Wednesday, June 3, that Netanyahu, referring to the ongoing tensions in the region, said Tehran has been “weakened” as a result of the conflict.
He added that he speaks with Donald Trump every two days and that there are sometimes “tactical differences” between the two sides, but that these differences are ultimately resolved.
The Israeli Prime Minister said that despite some disagreements, cooperation and coordination between the two sides continue.
These remarks came after reports emerged that Trump had sharply criticized Netanyahu during a diplomatic call over his threats to bomb Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
Trump also dismissed claims that Netanyahu had influenced him into going to war with Iran, saying that “if it weren’t for me, there would be no Israel right now.”
