The Polio-Free Afghanistan organisation has announced that a polio vaccination campaign will begin tomorrow across all areas of Afghanistan.
The organisation said on Sunday, September 20, on its X account that it has urged people to cooperate with the campaign and “do their part for a polio-free Afghanistan.”
The Polio-Free Afghanistan organisation had previously also announced that the polio virus can be transmitted by anyone and at any age, and urged people not to become carriers of the virus.
The organisation has stressed the importance of vaccination in preventing the spread of polio and urged people to cooperate with vaccination teams.
Polio-Free Afghanistan has consistently stressed that the timely administration of essential vaccines can prevent the spread of dangerous diseases, including polio, and help provide children with healthier lives.
