Spain’s national football team reached the 2026 FIFA World Cup final after defeating France.

Spain delivered a stronger performance, scoring twice against France and maintaining its lead until the final whistle to secure a place in the championship match.
France, which was seeking to reach the World Cup final for the third consecutive tournament, was eliminated from the competition following the defeat.
Spain will face the winner of the other semifinal between Argentina and England in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
The team will also be aiming for its second World Cup title after winning the tournament in 2010.
