Keir Starmer has said that the United Kingdom’s support for Ukraine remains “resolute and unwavering,” describing Ukraine’s security as inseparable from the security of Europe.
Writing on X on Sunday evening, June 7, Starmer said that Britain would stand alongside Ukraine for as long as necessary.
He added that Ukraine’s security is directly linked to the security of Europe.
Western support for Ukraine has been a central pillar of European and British foreign policy since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.
Since then, London, together with its NATO allies, has provided extensive military, financial, and training assistance to Kyiv.
