Sources say that the Taliban have arrested an Uzbek cultural activist and employee of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Herat province.
Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Wednesday, January 28, that the Taliban arrested Mohammad Mir Rasa and transferred him to Kabul.
According to sources, Taliban fighters also beat him.
Sources specify that Mohammad Mir is currently being held at the Taliban’s Interior Ministry.
The reason for this person’s arrest has not been clarified.
The Taliban have not said anything about this matter either.
This comes as sources said two days ago that a 19-year-old young man was killed in Parwan province after being arrested by the Taliban.
