Taliban intelligence arrested 12 NRF members in Kapisa province.
Taliban’s intelligence directorate published a newsletter and a videotape related to this event on Sunday (November 20th), announcing that the detainees include three key members of the National Resistance Front (NRF).
In the videotape released by the Taliban Intelligence Directorate of the alleged confessions, signs of torture can be seen in the detainees.
Although the NRF has not yet confirmed this allegations and news, local sources say that among the 12 detainees, only two of them are NRF members.
Ten of these people are civilians and are not affiliated to any group, according to local residents.
The Taliban arrested at least eleven people in the past week in various parts of Kapisa province, including two former republic soldiers, a teacher and a student, on charges of assisting the National Resistance Front (NRF).
