Local sources in Kabul have reported that a Taliban fighter killed two members of the same family in Surobi district of the province.
Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Tuesday, September 22, that the incident occurred after the children of the family got into a dispute with a Taliban fighter.
According to the sources, the Taliban fighters then opened fire on the two civilians, allegedly in support of their children.
Sources said the perpetrators are relatives of the Taliban district governor in Surobi and have not been prosecuted so far.
The incident comes two days after another Taliban fighter reportedly killed two brothers following a dispute over land ownership in Deh Sabz district of Kabul.
