
Taliban Kills an Imam Affiliated With a Former Army Unit in Kunduz
The Taliban killed an imam affiliated with one of the former army units in Kunduz province.
Sources confirmed to Hasht-e Subh that the Taliban raided the house of Qari Sayed Abdul Hadi, who previously served as an imam in the ranks of an army battalion in the vicinity of Kunduz province, at around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday night (December 3rd) and shot him dead.
One of Abdul Hadi’s relatives confirmed that he was killed by Taliban forces, but did not provide further details. The Taliban have not commented on this murder as of yet.
Since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, reports have been published indicating that Taliban members have arrested, tortured and killed members of the security forces of the former republic regime.
