Kabul – After the abolition of two ministries and election commissions, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan now says it will reopen these offices in the future if necessary.

“The government ministries for parliamentary affairs and the government for peace, as well as independent election commissions and election complaints, have been abolished because they were no longer needed,” said Inamullah Samangani, the deputy spokesperson of the Taliban on Friday, December 24.

The departments will be re-formed as the conditions require and if necessary, he added.

Meanwhile, the (IEA) announced the abolition of government ministries for parliamentary affairs and the government for peace, as well as the abolition of independent election commissions and election complaints on Friday, December 23.

However, nothing has been said about the fate of hundreds of employees in these offices.
