Taliban’s Bold Move: Former Security Commander’s Son Arrested in Ghazni’s Qara-Bagh District

Local sources in Ghazni province have reported that the Taliban have arrested the 13-year-old son of Ramazan Zirak, the former security commander of Qara-Bagh district in the previous government.

Sources from the province stated to Hasht-e Subh on Monday, June 4, that the Taliban detained this individual yesterday from Mr. Zirak’s home in Qara-Bagh.

Sources emphasize that the detained individual is currently being held in Taliban custody at the security command of this district.

According to sources, despite the repeated efforts of tribal elders, the Taliban have not yet released this child from captivity since yesterday.

The Taliban have also denied the family of this child permission to see him and have stated that he is under interrogation.

It should be noted that Mr. Ramazan Zirak left the country after the fall of the previous government, and his family resides in Qara-Bagh district.

Previously, the Taliban have consistently targeted and arrested family members of former government military personnel.
