US President Donald Trump has said that if no agreement is reached, the United States may be forced to target an underground nuclear complex known as “Kuh-e Kalang.”
Fox News reported early Tuesday, November 3, that Trump made the remarks in an interview with the network.
According to the report, Trump did not rule out the possibility of renewed war with Iran.
“We may have to go to Kuh-e Kalang. We can do it within an hour, whenever we want and at any moment we decide,” Trump said.
He reiterated that Iran is very eager to reach an agreement and that there is a very good chance of a deal being reached.
Trump’s remarks came shortly after US media reported that the United States had carried out “defensive” strikes on targets in southern Iran.
