Poets, writers, academics, religious scholars, young people and tribal elders from 10 provinces of Afghanistan gathered in Andkhoy district of Faryab province to commemorate Turkmen National Language Day.
The ceremony was held in Andkhoy district on Saturday, October 3, with participants emphasizing the preservation and promotion of the Turkmen language and culture.
At the event, several poets and writers spoke about the importance of the Turkmen language. Turkmen educational centers and private schools also performed songs in the language.
The cultural event was attended by residents and cultural figures from various provinces across Afghanistan.
