The United Front of Afghanistan has claimed that it killed a Taliban member in an ambush in Badghis province.
The group claimed on X late Tuesday, September 22, that its forces carried out an ambush operation in Jawand district of Badghis province.
According to the group’s claim, a Taliban fighter was targeted in the operation in the Dahan-e Kocha and Kham-e Jangal area of Jawand district.
The United Front did not provide an exact time for when the Taliban fighter was killed.
Meanwhile, local sources also told 8AM Media on Tuesday afternoon that a Taliban fighter had been killed by unknown gunmen in the district.
However, anti-Taliban fronts have increased their attacks against the group in various parts of Afghanistan in recent weeks.
