The United Front of Afghanistan has claimed that it killed two Taliban fighters in Helmand province.

The group said in a statement posted on X on Monday night, September 14, that it had carried out a targeted operation against the Taliban.

According to the statement, the United Front claimed that its forces attacked a Taliban checkpoint in Imam Rabat, in Nowsad district of Helmand province.

The group also claimed that its forces seized two Kalashnikov rifles belonging to Taliban fighters during the operation.

Meanwhile, attacks by anti-Taliban fronts against the group have increased in various parts of Afghanistan in recent months.
