According to international media reports, the US government is planning to deport more than 150 Afghanistan citizens to Afghanistan.

Reuters reported on Friday, October 30, that the first flight carrying these migrants is expected to depart on Monday, November 2, via Pakistan.

According to the report, the US government detained these asylum seekers in the state of Louisiana and has made plans to deport them to Afghanistan.

This move is considered one of the largest mass deportations of Afghanistan citizens from the United States.

US President Donald Trump says the tightening of immigration policies and the campaign to deport migrants are aimed at improving the country’s domestic security.

The report states that some of these asylum seekers sought refuge in the United States after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.

AfghanEvac, an organisation that assists with the relocation of Afghans to the United States, has warned that returning these individuals could put their lives and those of their families at risk.

The organisation has called on the US Congress to pass legislation granting temporary protected status to Afghanistan citizens residing in the country to prevent their deportation.
