A source in Zabul province says that the body of a 28-year-old young man, who was mysteriously killed, was found in the Shah Joy district of the province.
The source, who did not want to be identified, told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Monday, September 7, that the young man was named Abdul Hakim and was originally a resident of the fifth district of Kandahar city.
According to the source, he had operated a pharmacy in Zabul for some time and provided health services to residents.
The source said Abdul Hakim disappeared about three weeks ago while traveling from Kandahar to his workplace, and his body was found before noon today near the Shah Joy market.
The source added that he had been mysteriously killed and his body had been abandoned in an open area.
The Taliban in Zabul have also confirmed the incident and said that three people have been arrested in connection with the killing.
