Details of Blast in Kabul

Hasht-E Subh Hasht-E Subh
16 January 2023 - Solar Hijri Date: 1401/10/26 [t_time:1673870792]

Sources in the Kefayat Center shopping center in Kabul said that in the explosion that took place one day ago, six members of a family were seriously injured, and a child recently died.

Previously it was reported that 3 Taliban fighters were killed in a mysterious blast that took place yesterday at Kefayat Center on Darul Aman Road in Kabul.

Sources in Kabul city told Hasht-e Subh that the blast occurred on Sunday, January 15, at the house of a Taliban fighter in the residential complex.

A blast took place on the 9th floor of Kefayat Center, where the house of a Taliban member was located, claiming the lives of 3 Taliban fighters. According to sources, this blast was caused by explosives. Now it has been reported that the explosion took place in the house of the head of the operation department of Breshna Company, as a result of which his family members were seriously injured.

Taliban members have not yet confirmed the death of their fighters in Sunday blast.

Hours after the blast, however, it was reported that the explosion in Kafayat Center was caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder.
