Taliban-controlled media reported that 388 migrant families returned to the country yesterday.
The Taliban-run Bakhtar News Agency reported on Sunday, January 25, that three families returned via the Pul-e Abrasham in Nimroz province, three via Islam Qala in Herat, 12 via Spin Boldak in Kandahar, 363 via Torkham in Nangarhar, and seven via Bahramcha in Helmand.
The United Nations says that only 11 percent of returnees are employed.
About 400 families had also returned to the country two days earlier.
The United Nations says that 2.8 million Afghan migrants returned from Iran and Pakistan in 2025.
