The World Health Organization’s Regional Office for Africa has announced that the 76th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Africa will be held in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
According to the organization, health ministers, health officials, WHO partners and representatives from 47 member states will attend the meeting on Saturday, August 22.
The meeting will discuss the health situation in African countries, major health challenges and ways to improve health services.
Member states will also discuss future health programs and ways to strengthen cooperation between African countries and international organizations.
The WHO Regional Committee for Africa meets annually with member states to coordinate and make decisions on health issues.
