The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has announced the start of its spring offensive, claiming to have killed four Taliban fighters in Badakhshan province.

On Monday, March 30, the Freedom Front released a video of the attack, claiming it targeted the watchtower of the 219th Taliban Border Brigade in the Qalatak area of the Baharak District

According to the AFF, three other Taliban fighters were wounded in the attack.

The Freedom Front had previously suspended its attacks on the Taliban during the month of Ramadan.

The group emphasized that it will continue to target Taliban gathering centers, bases, and checkpoints.

From time to time, both the Freedom Front and the National Resistance Front claim responsibility for attacks on the Taliban.
