The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that Rabab Fatima, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and head of UNAMA, visited a WHO-run centre providing life-saving health services in Torkham.
The organization said on Friday, October 30, in a post on X that the visit took place during Fatima’s trip to the Omari Returnee Camp in Torkham.
During the visit, WHO staff briefed Fatima on the health services provided to returning migrants and their access to medical care.
Fatima highlighted the organization’s important role in providing quality health services to vulnerable families.
