The Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed that two Taliban fighters were killed and two others wounded in an attack in Kunduz province.

In a statement issued on Saturday, January 3, the group said the attack took place last night near the “Mufti Siraj” mosque on the Imam Sahib Port Road in the city of Kunduz.

According to the Afghanistan Freedom Front, the vehicle carrying Taliban fighters was also set on fire in the attack.

The group had previously claimed responsibility for an attack on a Taliban appellate court in Faryab province, which it said killed four Taliban fighters.
