Kabul – Ahmad Massoud, the National Resistance Front leader has said that the Front demands the formation of a real inclusive government that is based on the will, rights of the people, and must have come to power through a legitimate and legal way.
On Tuesday, October 12, the National Resistance Front (NRF) by publishing a statement has said that the front calls for the formation of a real inclusive government based on the will and votes of the people, adding that he welcomes the stance of the countries of the world not to recognize the Taliban’s government and the emphasis on forming an inclusive government in Afghanistan, and expects this policy to continue decisively.
“National Resistance Front wants a system which comes to power through the will of people, in a legitimate and legal process,” Ahmad Massoud stated.
The massacre of worshipers in the Saidabad Mosque in Kunduz province, the forced evictions of people from their homes and properties, especially in Kandahar, Balkh, Daikundi, and the Andarab of Baghlan provinces, the disappearance of individuals and military personnel, as well as the mass killings in Panjshir province are all examples of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and war crimes against humanity, NRF stated in a statement.
Meanwhile, the leader of NRF calls on all organizations and international communities to take serious and urgent measures so as to handle the acute human crisis, and protect human rights, and to end terrorist crimes.
The Front leader has indicated that the widespread struggles of civilians have led the world not to recognize the Taliban and open a new chapter in the history of the country and the country’s internal and external relations.
The secret agreements during the negotiations with the Taliban under the umbrella of national reconciliation on the one hand, and the surrender of the government by Ashraf Ghani and his escape with the steeling of national treasures, on the other hand, is a clear example of betrayal; it caused the collapse of the system and the destruction of the achievements of the people of the country, Ahmad added.
In addition, Ahmad Massoud has stated that the NRF is trying to protect the legitimacy of the country, to establish Afghanistan’s great position in the world, and to work closely with the country’s elites, political and Jihadi leaders, and prominent figures of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to restrain the crisis caused by the collapse of the regime.
