The Polio Free Afghanistan organization has announced that a polio vaccination campaign will be conducted across all provinces of Afghanistan next week.
In a message on Wednesday, April 8, the organization said that the campaign will take place on Monday next week.
Polio Free Afghanistan has called on the public to cooperate in order to help eradicate the disease.
The organization did not specify how many children would be vaccinated during the campaign.
The World Health Organization (WHO) had previously reported that two positive cases of polio were recorded in Afghanistan last year in Badghis Province and Helmand Province.
