The Afghanistan United Front has claimed that it killed a Taliban intelligence operative in Kandahar.
The front said in a statement posted on X on Monday, August 31, that its forces killed the Taliban intelligence operative in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar.
According to the statement, the operative was killed in the Minar Chowk area of Spin Boldak district, and one of his pistols was also seized by the front’s forces.
This comes as attacks by anti-Taliban fronts against the group have increased in various parts of the country in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, the Taliban have repeatedly denied the existence and activities of anti-Taliban fronts in Afghanistan over the past five years.
