The British Embassy in Afghanistan says that Afghan women are facing unimaginable injustices.
The British Embassy in Afghanistan, on Tuesday, November 25, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, emphasized its commitment to supporting Afghan women.
The embassy added that it will amplify the voices of Afghan women.
Furthermore, the British Embassy called for respect for the rights, freedom, and equality of Afghan women.
Meanwhile, the office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has also called for support for Afghan women.
The office emphasized that violence against Afghan women has increased by 40 percent over the past two years.
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women comes at a time when Afghan women are facing systematic suppression by the Taliban.
