Local sources say a doctor named Khalideen Qarluq was killed by unknown individuals in the center of Dasht-e-Archi district in Kunduz province.
Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Wednesday, September 23, that the doctor was killed by unknown individuals inside his pharmacy around noon the previous day.
No further details have been released about the cause or motive behind the killing.
Two days earlier, another doctor was killed in the center of Badghis province.
Meanwhile, criminal incidents, armed robberies, killings, and insecurity have increased in various parts of the country in recent days. Citizens have accused the Taliban of failing to ensure public security.
