Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York and discussed Iran and the situation in the Middle East.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on X on Monday night, September 21, that the two foreign ministers discussed regional and international developments.
Referring to the situation in Iran, Dar and Abdelatty stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional challenges.
During the meeting, Pakistan’s foreign minister stressed the need for all parties to fully implement the Islamabad Understanding.
Dar reiterated the need to implement the Islamabad Understanding even though Iran and the United States have declared the agreement null and void.
