local sources in Bamiyan report that Taliban fighters have beaten two female teachers in welcoming the Taliban’s acting minister of education in this province.
According to reliable local sources, these female teachers, affiliated with Darul Uloom Ettefaq, located in the center of Bamiyan, were beaten by the Taliban on Monday, May 22.
These teachers, named Zahra Haydari and Sharifa Rustami, had gone to welcome Habibulla Aghaz, the acting minister of education of the Taliban, who had traveled to Bamiyan.
Apparently, after the beating, the Taliban took these two female teachers with them to their security command in Bamiyan.
Local Taliban officials in Bamiyan have not yet issued a comment regarding the incident.
It is said that the acting minister of education of the Taliban has traveled to this province at the head of a delegation to inaugurate a jihad school in the Teacher Training Building in Bamiyan.
According to the information from sources, the Taliban have converted the boys’ dormitory of the Teacher Training Center in Bamiyan into a jihad school.
