Kabul – The Taliban security forces and the armed kidnappers fought with one another in Herat city afternoon on Sunday, (October 24).

During the fight, an abductor group has been disintegrated, Herat Police Command said in a newsletter.

“Four members of abductor group gang had been placed in the 15th district of Herat city,” Herat Police Command added.

The armed clashes killed four kidnappers and wounded two Taliban forces, according to the newsletter.

The fight continued for three hours, and heavy weapons were used including rockets. Meanwhile, a few military weapons of kidnappers have remained in the hands of Taliban forces, residents quoted.

A few days ago, a resident of Guzara in Herat city was rescued from the abductors.
